Wonderful Wednesdays Activities We need volunteers starting in mid- September! This is a great opportunity to serve and get to know lots of great folks! Fellowship Meal at 5:15 pm in the Fellowship Hall Kids' Choir 4:45 - 5:15 pm Youth Classes (6th -12th Grades) 6:00 - 7:00 pm KidsLink Fun and Fellowship for kids 2 years old through 5th grade KidsChoir For kids kindergarten through 5th grade who like to sing and have a great time! A time for music and worship is a part of our Wednesday night KidsLink Program rotation for preschool children through 5th grade from 5:45 pm - 7:00 pm. We also offer a KidsChoir for grades K-5 from 4:45 pm - 5:15 pm. The KidsChoir will present a Christmas musical on Sunday December 14th at 6:00 pm. A fellowship meal is served from 5:15 pm - 5:45 pm. The cost for children is $2.50. Adult Classes: 6:00- 7:00 New Members Class Twice a year at Rocky Mount we hold a new members class called “Getting Started at the Mount.” In this class you will learn about the history of our church and the denomination. We will discuss what we believe and discover your spiritual gifts. We hope to reflect on what it means to get connected in the local church as well as God’s church as a whole. Bible 101 Bible 101 gives participants a solid, foundational understanding of God’s Word in a format uniquely designed for a small group setting. Each six-part study offers an icebreaker to focus your meeting, an overview, discussion points, important Scripture for memorization or reflection, and a group activity. In this study Pastor Jamie and Pastor Mark will give us the foundations of God’s word as well as show us how to unlock the power of God’s word through study. Marriage This class will be taught by Mike and Carolyn Stewart. they will explore how to have a strong marriage based on Christian values and faith. Bringing Up Boys
Wonderful Wednesdays Activities Dear Parents, We are very excited about our new Fall Wonderful Wednesday Program called KidsLink for Preschool children through 5^th grade beginning on September 10. We will be using a new curriculum for us called “Live Big”, which includes times for Bible study with student interaction, games, crafts, and a time for music and worship. A fellowship meal will be served in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 5:15 pm. The cost is $3.00 for children and $5.00 for adults. There is no charge for children below age two. We will begin KidsLink with an Opening Program in the Sanctuary at 5:45 pm. A rotation of the different program segments will begin at 5:55 pm. Pick-up will be at 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall. We are excited to offer a Children’s Choir for grades K – 5. This group will be a separate part of the KidsLink Program and will rehearse from 4:45 pm – 5:15 pm in the Music Room. This group will present a musical for Christmas. If you are interested in your child participating in the Children’s Choir we must know now so that music can be chosen and ordered. Please fill out the KidsLink registration form on the homepage of this website as soon as possible. We look forward to seeing your child(ren) on Wonderful Wednesdays this Fall.
