Nurture Ministry 

The PURPOSE of the Nurture Ministry gives attention to education, worship, Christian Formation, membership care, small groups, and stewardship of individuals and families of all ages. 

The Nurture Committee is an edification and continuation of Christ’s work through ministry teams which promote health and wellness of the body, mind, and spirit.

The ministry teams provide emotional and physical support during life’s difficulties and offer classes and other opportunities to remain physically fit. 

•Angels on Call reach out to those who have had a recent hospitalization, surgery, or illness by sending cards or cooking and delivering a hot, home cooked meal; transporting someone to the doctor or pharmacy; making a daily phone call to check on someone; running errands for someone who is not capable themselves.  

• Stephen’s Ministries provide a Christ centered confidant for those experiencing a personal crisis or tragedy.  

• Visitation team visits those who are homebound, hospitalized, or are in nursing homes or long term care facilities.  

• Health Care ministry team hosts blood drives twice a year, offers weekly exercise classes, and provides monthly blood pressure checks one time per month.
