The 9:45 am contemporary service in the sanctuary was started in 2005. On January 11, 2009, the 11:00 am service also became a contemporary worship experience. The Rocky Mount Praise Team Band leads worship with a keyboard, bass, and trumpet, along with guitars and drums. Many young families attend this service, which continues to grow in attendance.
